The Spirit of Volunteerism  - Giving One's Self for Others

The Dalaw Kalinga Foundation will not be able to serve the needy without volunteers and members. The mission will only be as strong as our volunteers and members.  From the people who do the packing of relief bags, to the men setting-up the location of the medical mission, to the doctors and medical practitioners attending to the patients, their hands-on work make the difference.

Patriotism - Gearing towards Community Empowerment

Dalaw Kalinga Foundation is also geared towards community empowerment. The goal is to help those in need but it is also very important to address the root cause of neediness. Poverty is conceptualized broadly, taking into account not only income or money but its impact in terms of human deprivation. We have to realize that there are enough resources but the problem is the unequal distribution of resources. Thus, comes the virtue of giving and sharing for those who have the resources and empowering those who are lacking by motivating them to help themselves.

Dalaw Kalinga Foundation's dream is to help others get involved in life changing experiences.
